Brownie Batter Overnight Oats

brownie batter overnight oats

Brownie batter overnight oats are a quick, easy and delicious breakfast (or snack or dessert lol) can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. It's the perfect recipe for crazy back to school mornings or those weekends where you're running to your kids early morning activities.

Ingredients:

2 cups old fashioned rolled oats

1 tbs chia seeds

1 tbs hemp seeds

1 tbs milled flax seeds

1 1/2 tbs cacao powder

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

2 cups of almond or coconut milk

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup pure maple syrup

2/3 cup yogurt

Chocolate chips

Shredded coconut

Directions:

In a large bowl combine all ingredients except for chocolate chips and coconut. Mix well. Divide equally among four containers and sprinkle chocolate chips and coconut on top. Place in refrigerator and let rest 2 hours or overnight.

Notes: This recipe can also be made without seeds. You may need to decrease the amount of milk that you use if you are leaving out the seeds. You could top this recipe with anything you would normally put in brownies. Try adding a variety of nuts and different seeds like pumpkin.
