Quick and Easy Homemade Granola

Quick and Easy Homemade Granola

This quick and easy homemade granola is a staple in our house. As an added bonus this granola has 8 different plants in it! Did you know that the more plants you consume the better your gut health is? This recipe is quick and easy and lasts a few weeks when stored in a mason jar in the cabinet.

Ingredients:

2 Tbs. Melted coconut oil

2 cups of Oats

2 Tbs. Chia seeds

2 Tbs. Ground flax seeds

2 Tbs. Hemp hearts

1/2 Cup of Your choice of 3 different kinds of nuts

(I love almonds, pecans and cashews in this!)

1/4 cup of Dried cranberries or shredded coconut

2 Tbs. Pure maple syrup

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together except for the dried cranberries. Once fully combined spread evenly onto your baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes stirring half way through. Add dried cranberries or coconut and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Once cooled store in a glass air tight container. Granola will stay fresh for 3-4 weeks when kept in the cabinet.
