Live Your Best Life This Summer

Summer presents a perfect opportunity to step into your best self and prioritize your well-being. The sun is shining brightly and the temperatures are rising. Summer is a time for vibrant energy, fresh beginnings, and endless possibilities. As a health coach, I'm here to guide you on a journey towards living your best life this summer. By making small, intentional changes and embracing healthy habits, you can create a season that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit. Let's dive in!

  1. Nourish Your Body by eating seasonally. In the summer you will find an abundance of delicious fresh food. One of my favorite things to do is to explore local farmer's markets to find the freshest produce and best deals. Think juicy watermelons, ripe berries, crisp salads, and refreshing smoothies. During the warmer months I love to incorporate more salads, grilled vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into my meals. My body just seems to crave these things during the summer.

  2. Prioritize Movement and Exercise. The summer months are the perfect time to participate in a variety of outdoor activities. Take advantage of the longer daylight hours and warm sunny weather. Activities like hiking, swimming, biking, yoga in the park or going for a leisurely walk are among some of my favorites. And while enjoying these activities take some time to pause and enjoy the natural beauty around you. Always remember to stay hydrated especially as the temperatures rise. If the heat is intense during the day, consider exercising during cooler hours, such as early morning or late evening.

  3. Nurture Your Mind and Soul. Engage in activities that promote mindfulness, such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or simply spending time in nature. Savor each moment and stay present. Spend quality time with loved ones, disconnect from electronics, engage in hobbies, or read a book that inspires you. One of my favorite ways to do this is to write in my gratitude journal. Each day I write down three things I'm grateful for. It's quick and easy when I'm short on time and it gives me a chance to focus on the positive.


Summer offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones, enhance your well-being, and enjoy life to the fullest. By incorporating these tips into your summer routine, you can create a season that nurtures your mind, body, and soul. Remember, small changes can have a profound impact on your overall health and happiness.
